In Tokyo Gas, he has been promoting the work of carbon neutrality in Tokyo Gas’ group using green hydrogen, e-methane and CCUS. He is the vice chair of the Japan Institute of Energy, a board member of Japan Society of Energy and Resources, Hydrogen Energy Systems Society of Japan, Clean Fuel and Ammonia Association, and a member of evaluation committee for several national projects. He was the former chair of the R&D and Innovation committee of IGU (International Gas Union).
